📌 FLU VACCINES FOR PATIENTS UNDER 65📌

We still have a supply of flu vaccines available for patients under the age of 65.

If you wish to avail of one of these vaccines please contact the surgery or mention it to the nurse or GP when attending an appointment.

⭐️ IMPORTANT INFO ⭐️

Due to unexpected circumstances, the reception team are short staffed tomorrow, Thursday 20th November.

If you were planning on contacting the surgery tomorrow for a non-urgent query or request, please consider delaying your call until Friday.

This will relieve pressure on the phone lines to allow us to answer calls that are of a more urgent nature.

The winter flu and COVID-19 vaccination programmes will begin on 6 October 2025.

Vaccines provide the best defence against winter viruses.

People who are eligible for vaccination against flu or COVID-19 this year should make themselves aware of their own GP surgery’s or community pharmacist’s vaccination arrangements and work with them to get vaccinated.

From the 1st January 2026 we will be moving largely to the online repeat prescription ordering service.

This makes ordering repeat prescriptions easy and convenient for patients, and can be done at a time that suits you.

IT Systems updated statement at 15:00.

The Trust is continuing to experience significant issues with our IT systems which are having an impact on our services.
Work by engineers to resolve these complex issues is ongoing but disruption to services is likely to continue for some time.
Community services are expected to operate as normal tomorrow (Thursday).
Unfortunately, the majority of planned surgery and out-patient hospital appointments are being cancelled tomorrow. These will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
We ask that people avoid coming to our Emergency Departments unless absolutely necessary.
We apologise for any disruption. Staff are working hard to resume services as soon as possible. Further updates will be provided in due course.
