Join our free online session for parents/carers of teenagers. Learning about teenage brain development will support you in understanding why:
• Teens feel emotions/anxiety so intensely.
• Teens have difficulty reading faces, gestures and emotions of others.
• Social acceptance and rejection by their peers matters.
• There is conflict with parents.
• Their sleep patterns change.

Appointments available with our mental health practitioners- Ainne Donaghy and Kelly Forbes. Contact reception to book. Ainne and Kelly can offer a review of your mood/mental health and can suggest how to improve your mental health via non medication options. We also have 2 student counsellors at the surgery who are accessible via Kelly and Ainne.

We have three face-to-face Mindful Self-Compassion courses taking place in the month of December.
The course explores what self-compassion is; how to cultivate self-compassion; and how to manage the internal critic. It also provides practical skills and techniques to integrate self-compassion into daily life, fostering resilience and well-being.
