Foot ulcers can be frightening to deal with.
A diabetic foot ulcer is an open wound or sore that’s slow to heal, and it’s especially common in people with diabetic polyneuropathy.

When you have reduced sensation in your feet, it’s easy to injure yourself without realising. A small cut from something sharp or even a blister from poorly fitting shoes can quickly turn into an ulcer.

Corns on your feet can be extremely painful 😣

They’re caused by friction and pressure from repeated actions — often things we don’t even think about. Common causes include:

🔵 Ill-fitting shoes or socks – Tight shoes and heels can squeeze the feet, while loose ones cause rubbing. Even a seam or stitch inside a shoe can lead to friction.
🔵 Going sock-free – Wearing shoes or sandals without socks can cause the skin to rub directly against the material, creating painful pressure points.
