This cause is close to all of our hearts, and we’re proud to support the UK’s leading dementia research charity. 💛💙

Together, we walk for our residents, our families, and for everyone affected by dementia.

We’re incredibly proud to share some amazing news with our care community this morning! 💙💛

Our Chief Executive, Paul Newman, has been awarded an MBE for his incredible contribution to health and social care.

The honour was presented by His Majesty King Charles III at Windsor Castle on Tuesday this week, a moment of well-deserved recognition for Paul’s decade-long leadership of Greensleeves Care, one of the UK’s most respected not-for-profit care providers, as well as his voluntary contributions to the wider health and social care sector.

This includes his ongoing work on developing UK and international standards for inclusive communities that support people living with dementia.

Paul said:

“It was an extraordinary honour to receive this award from His Majesty the King.

I accept it on behalf of all the dedicated colleagues I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years – especially those providing compassionate, life-enhancing care to older people every day.

Social care is often undervalued, but it changes lives. I hope this recognition helps shine a light on the people and the values that make our sector so vital."

We have enjoyed a wonderful week with a morning of music and dancing, creating Easter bonnets a raffle for a Easter hamper and name the giant 🐰🐣🐰 ooh and not forgetting our weekly coffee morning.
