Today the residents enjoyed getting creative with some paper crafts and loved seeing their creations come to life. It was wonderful to watch everyone’s imagination and smiles shine through during the activity! ✂️🎨😊

Today we celebrated VE Day — 8th May 1945 🇬🇧

It was a lovely day filled with reminiscing, sharing memories and stories from years gone by, and reflecting on an important moment in history. We came together to remember the bravery, sacrifice, and joy that marked the end of the war in Europe.

Everyone enjoyed the wonderful tea parties, delicious treats, listening to wartime music, laughter, and great company. It was so special to see everyone joining in, chatting, smiling, and keeping the spirit of remembrance alive. ❤️☕🍰🎶

A truly meaningful and heartwarming day enjoyed by all.

Another great Men’s Shed meet-up today 🌱

We got stuck into planting a variety of vegetables including tomatoes, peas, cabbage, lettuce, and cucumbers. It was a good session with plenty of teamwork and a bit of laughter along the way.

Now comes the exciting part—watching everything grow and (hopefully!) enjoying the results on our plates in the weeks ahead.

Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out! 🍅🥬🥒
