‘Social connection’ (or social connectedness, as it’s sometimes called) is the experience of feeling close and connected to others, feeling cared for, valued and having a sense of belonging – and research shows it’s vital to our physiological and mental health.
We can become socially connected in all sorts of places and ways – through our school communities, places of worship, at work – or with any group of people who regularly come together in person, with a common purpose.
Slimming World groups are a prime example!
Come and create your own beautiful picture with us by joining one of our local groups.
