I’ve worked with men before but gems like like Graham the world needs more of him honestly knew from the moment I met him he's salt of the earth! — the kind who never planned on sitting in a clinic chair, but ended up there because something knocked their confidence sideways.

In his case, it was a fall.
One night.
One scar.
Right on his face.

It healed white. Noticeable.
And no matter how much he told himself it didn’t matter… it did.

That’s the bit people/ mostly men don't talk about.
It’s not vanity.
It’s the quiet “why is this still bothering me?” months — sometimes years — after you think you should be over it.

Graham didn’t come in asking to look different.
He just wanted the scar to stop walking into the room before he did the way he felt it did

I see this pattern all the time with men.
They minimise it.
Laugh it off.
Tell themselves to just get on with it.

Until a mirror catches them at the wrong angle.
Or a photo does them no favours.
Or someone asks, “What happened there?”

He was recommended to me by someone who cared enough to say,
“Go and speak to her — she’ll be honest with you.”

And that’s the part that matters.
Because this work only works when it’s subtle.
When it blends.
When it respects the face and covers without detection

We did scar camouflage.
Immediately after, you could already see the shift.
Not dramatic.
Not obvious.
Just… calmer. Balanced. Like it belonged again.

He left buzzing.
I left quietly proud.
One tiny tweak at touch-up and that’s it.

Two very happy campers.

And just so it’s said clearly — I don’t care who you are, what you look like, or where you come from.

♥️Important announcement.♥️

It’s the first Monday of the year, and unfortunately this needs to be said early.

My assistant was verbally abused today for using the word “lovely.”
We use terms of endearment here.
We speak kindly.
We treat people with respect.

That is not negotiable.

Any disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive behaviour toward me or anyone on my team will not be tolerated — ever.
If it happens, you will be immediately removed from our client list. No discussion. No second chances.

This studio is a calm, safe, respectful space — for my clients and for the people who work here.
If that doesn’t align with you, this is not the right place for you, and that’s okay.

Kindness is the bare minimum here.
Integrity is the standard.
And we protect our people.

Thank you to the many clients who contribute to the warmth, respect, and trust that this space is built on — you’re the reason we do what we do.

Permanent eyeliner isn’t scary — it’s precise, painless, and totally customised for your eyes.

The main tip I can give is go to a highly experienced artist.

But you’re allowed to feel seen, heard, beautiful, and alive — now. Stop letting the past call the shots.

I say this to all my clients the ones listening to the old stories overthinking everything .

How many times have you been told
“Age doesn’t matter”
or “anyone can have this done”
when what you’re really thinking is:

What if I don’t recognise myself after?

That fear doesn’t belong to one age.
Or one gender.
Or one skin type.

I see it in 18-year-olds.
I see it in men.
I see it in people in their 70s, 80s, even 90s.

And it’s never about vanity.
It’s about trust.

Because you’ve seen work that was too much.
Too dark. Too sharp. Too permanent.
Work that changed someone instead of supporting them.

You’re not being dramatic.
And you’re not “overthinking it.”
This is your face.

One small thing that actually helps:
Look at healed results on real people —
different ages, different skin, different faces.
Not trends. Not filters. Real life.

Permanent makeup has taken that weight off my shoulders.
