I import each batch from overseas, and with the world being what it is right now, shipping costs have gone through the roof. Bear with me, I’ll have more stock coming your way as soon as I can.

✨Did you know?✨ The NHS’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has included acupuncture in its guidelines for certain conditions, recognising evidence that it can be a helpful treatment option for some patients.

NICE recommendations are based on rigorous reviews of scientific evidence, safety, and cost-effectiveness, so when acupuncture appears in a guideline, it shows growing recognition of its role as part of evidence-based healthcare.

You don’t have to choose between Eastern or Western medicine. You can combine them and get the best of both! 🐉

✨Patience in Healing✨

It's been 6 months since I broke my ankle with surgery that resulted in 18 screws and a plate. I've had various complications along the way, and my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome means healing takes a bit longer.

One part I wasn't prepared for is the fatigue. WOW. I'm still SO TIRED. I know physical and emotional trauma takes its toll on the body, but living it has been a real eye opener.

Practicing patience has been challenging. It's so easy for health practitioners to talk about "patience" in healing, and living in a society where we expect fast results can make expectations difficult to manage, including my own. I'm only human!

Reflecting on this has reminded me of everything I learned in my Chinese medicine degree. Real healing isn't dramatic, it's sustainable. Small subtle shifts are signs the body is reorganizing and strengthening from within to create lasting change.

When growing a tree, you don’t pull on the leaves to make it grow faster. You nourish the roots and give it time. 🌿

They are currently fundraising for their 2026 project to open a new clinic based in the Mother of Mercy Hospital in Kyengera, Uganda.

From 01 January 2026, appointments will increase by £5. Facials will remain the same.

Any appointments already booked will stay at the price you booked them at.

This small increase covers rising operating costs and helps me continue to provide high quality care and service. I’m very grateful for your continued support and understanding.

What a year it’s been. From growing my business at the MACPool, to investing my life savings into building a new clinic, relocating to Kilmichael, and navigating a major health setback along the way - It’s been an emotional rollercoaster of excitement, uncertainty, and hope that it would all work out.

And it did, thanks to your incredible support and this amazing community!
