Stroke prevention

When carrying out our routine foot checks you may see us reach for a handy device, that let's us hear your foot pulses, called a Doppler ultrasound.

As well as detecting signs of vascular disease it also allows us to listen for any irregularities which may otherwise go unnoticed.

These irregularities are reported straight to your GP for further management.

Atrial fibrillation increases your risk of stroke 5 fold, and can often go undetected.

Nail Surgery

Ingrowing toenails are a common occurence. They can cause pain, the skin around the nail to swell and in some cases infection.

We provide a permanent solution, completely pain free under local anaesthesia at a time that suits you.

This procedure is not just exclusive to ingrowing toenails. Unsightly, damaged, fungal or problem nails can also be removed.

HCPC and Royal College of Podiatry registered

We've had lots of patients in the clinic recently suffering from Plantar Fasciitis/Fasciopathy. So what is it?

It presents as pain in the heel or arch of your foot. It can feel worse when you first walk after sleeping or sitting down for long periods. Raising your toes off the floor is difficult. And exercise might ease the pain.... but it returns quickly after resting.

We can help at the Kilsyth Podiatry Clinic. Give us a call on 01236825222. Or chat to one of our podiatrists, and book an appointment, directly through Facebook.
