We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Flutter UKI Cash4Clubs programme, delivered in partnership with Sported.

Cash4Clubs is a small grants scheme focused on supporting adult participation in sport and physical activity, particularly in areas of need. Cash4Clubs supports community groups and grassroots sports organisations (like ours) who make sport more accessible to people from underrepresented groups.

Cash4Clubs is funded by Flutter UK & Ireland, part of Flutter Entertainment. Since 2008, Flutter UKI has donated over £6.5million to community sports clubs through the Cash4Clubs programme, helping thousands of people across the UK and Ireland by ensuring they have access to local sports
and supporting the sustainability of clubs.

Sported is the UK’s leading grassroots sports charity. They deliver funding and support to a network of more than 5,000 clubs and community groups – strengthening communities and transforming the lives of over a million people each year.

The new addition to North Ayrshire Tandem Cycling thanks to the funding from UKSPF and the team at Ayrshire Trailers. This purchase will allow us to transport our Tandems further afield to enjoy cycling in other parts of the country.

We finally got to do our Fundraiser Around the Island of Arran on behalf of the charity, Community Hub of Hope. 4 Tandems and 3 Solo riders enjoyed the weather and the beautiful countryside views. It was a long day from 7.30am until 9.30pm, with 55.7miles and worth every part of the ride. Massive thanks to all our members who took part for this worthy cause.

Fantastic day on Arran yesterday for the club, cycling from Brodick, heading south and all the way round back to Brodick. 11 club cyclists taking part to raise funds for the Community Hub for Hope. Perfect weather, a perfect day and a perfect cycle……Check the video!
