If you…

Struggle to stop snacking after dinner…

Want to feel in control of your food again without obsessing over every calorie...

Yet can’t stand the idea of giving up your favourite treats or tracking every bite...

Then listen up.

You might think you have to be “all or nothing” to make progress.
But that’s not true.

I’ve had clients who went from nightly cupboard raids to not even craving snacks between meals.

Others are hitting 100g of protein daily while still enjoying Prosecco and pizza nights.

One even said, “I’ve resisted every cake in the staff room this week—and I actually feel proud!”

These aren’t unicorns. Just real people who learned a better way to eat without guilt or restriction.

And I’m inviting you to be the next.

You don’t need to commit to anything right now.

Just drop me a message saying “Nutrition” and I’ll share what this could look like for you.

Honest thought…

Even as a nutritionist and business owner, I don’t wake up motivated every day.

Some days I feel clear, driven and focused. Other days I question everything, feel flat, and wonder if I’m making progress at all.

That’s normal.

Social media often shows the highlight reel, but behind most progress is consistency on the days you don’t feel like it.

Motivation comes and goes. Discipline, habits and showing up anyway are what move things forward.

If you’re feeling a bit stuck right now, you’re probably not failing — you’re just in a phase that requires patience.

Keep going. Quiet progress still counts.

Race Nutrition strategies need to be planned, practiced and purposeful.

Not sure what to eat to get through your race?

I’ve worked with endurance athletes to help fuel them through their race, whether it’s a half, marathon or ultra!

Fuelling correctly is essential- don’t listen to Joe Wicks

Heavy legs?

If you get less than 7 hours sleep, fix that first

If training volume is up, increase carbs around key sessions

If always sore, check protein across the day

If cravings are taking over, total energy may be too low

Before you add more sessions or punish your body, troubleshoot!

Hybrid training is demanding. Your recovery has to match it.

There’s often a bit of confusion around this…

Nutritionist vs Dietitian

Dietitians are regulated healthcare professionals, usually working in clinical or medical settings.

Nutritionists often work in private settings, supporting things like performance, fuelling, fat loss, and building sustainable habits.

So rather than focusing just on the title…
It’s more helpful to focus on the person behind it.

Look for someone who is:
• Properly qualified
• Evidence-based in their approach
• Focused on realistic, sustainable results

That’s exactly what everything is built around at Core Nutrition

4 days of endurance fuelling ready to go.

When the miles add up, your nutrition has to keep up too.

Carbs to fuel the sessions, protein to recover, and simple meals that make consistency easy.

Good training weeks start with good fuelling.

Train hard. Fuel smarter.

Most endurance athletes focus on what they eat, but performance is often decided by when they eat it.

Timing protein and carbohydrates properly can help:
• maintain energy through training• support recovery• restore glycogen stores• improve consistency in sessions

If you’re preparing for a half marathon, marathon or HYROX, your fuelling strategy should match your training load.
That’s exactly what I build inside my performance nutrition plans at Core Nutrition.
