Tom and Liz have been examining eyes in the area since 1994 in Oakwood (Derby), then Alvaston (since 2007) and opened Kimberley Opticians in 2011. Together they aim to deliver great customer service in a friendly environment where you are the priority.

Many of you will already know Dr Farra Hargreaves, who’s been part of our team for the past two years. During that time, she's become a familiar face in practice and a big part of what makes our team so special.
We’re thrilled to say that Dr Hargreaves has now officially taken over the business! Their passion for eye care, dedication to our patients, and commitment to great service make them the perfect person to lead us into this next chapter.
Nothing’s changing when it comes to the friendly faces and quality care you know and trust – we’re just looking forward to building on it even more.

Whose been watching the winter Olympics🙋‍♀️
It's been fantastic and they are all winners in our eyes🏆
Did you know that Winter Olympic athletes use specialized eyewear to protect against intense UV snow reflection, freezing temperatures, and high-speed wind, often wearing goggles over prescription glasses or specialized, tinted lenses to maintain clear vision.
