A massive thank you to everyone in our local GP Practices who is working tirelessly to meet ever increasing demand for appointments.

New data shows that GP practices in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire provided a total of 618,216 appointments in April this year alone.

Many practices now allow you to book appointments online or by using the NHS app, as well as by phone. And while most appointments are still face-to-face, many practices offer online and telephone appointments too, when appropriate, which some people find better to fit in around work and other commitments.

As part of Men's Health Week, Living Well Taking Control are hosting a free webinar at 12pm on Tuesday 10 June about why men are at higher risk of type 2 diabetes and practical steps to protect your health.
