We’ve been shortlisted for the Birmingham Regional Finals of
Out of 900+ applications, just 60 businesses were selected……and we’re one of them.

This one feels extra special as it follows the relaunch of our business with a new name, clearer purpose and bolder direction…..evolving what we’ve built into something even more intentional and impact-led.

New Showcase: Bluee Swimwear – Beach to Bar Collection

This one was a big project!

We worked with the Bluee Swimwear team to develop their Beach-to-Bar collection across two drops and three colourways, starting from early toiles and sketches and shaping them into fully engineered garments.

From refining fits and building accurate size charts, to reworking CADs, sourcing fabrics, creating tech packs, overseeing protos and managing bulk production — this collection kept us very busy.

But seeing Drop 1 & 2 delivered and so well received made it all worthwhile.

As the team themselves said:

New Showcase Alert: Hoydens Workwear (for women!)

Back in 2017 we had the pleasure of working with Annie..... a painter & decorator who was so done with work trousers that didn’t fit real women doing real, physical jobs.

Together with the brilliant Pattern Cutter Liz, we developed a pair of technical, hardwearing, genuinely comfortable women’s workwear trousers that passed every test… including the all-important when you crouch!

They were incredibly well received, and although Annie wasn’t able to continue the brand after launch due to personal circumstances, the project will always be one of our favourites.

She summed it up best herself:

“Thank God for Fazane Fox! Feedback on the quality has been really good — I can’t tell you how happy I am!”

A couple of weeks ago our boss Fazane Fox had the absolute joy of returning to her old senior school Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy to give a talk about her journey—from being a shy Year 7 girl with skinny legs and an unpronounceable name, to becoming the founder of Fazane Fox Production Agency.

She spoke here last year, so when they invited her back, she took it as a good sign that she didn’t traumatise anyone too badly the first time.....
