Good morning — posting from Rugby Hospital, where I’m stationed today.
There’s a 4-day weekend ahead, and like most practices, Kineton & Tysoe Surgeries will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, reopening as normal on Tuesday morning.
I do hope you have a restful and enjoyable Easter break.
However, if you do feel unwell during this time, help is still available:
1. Use NHS 111
You can either call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk for advice and to be directed to the right care.
If needed, NHS 111 can also arrange for you to see an Out of Hours GP.
2. Local Out of Hours GP clinics will be running at:
• Warwick Hospital
• Trinity Court Surgery, Stratford
• Rugby Hospital
• George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton
• Godiva Building, Coventry city centre (next to the NHS walk-in centre)
3. Local can help too
Pharmacists are trained to offer advice for minor illnesses, and some can now supply antibiotics for common conditions (see attached image for examples).
I’ve also provided a link to a list of pharmacies open on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Bank Holiday Monday in South Warwickshire. Most pharmacies will be open as usual on Saturday, so check locally if you need help then.

Hopefully, you won’t need to use this advice — but if you do, the NHS is here to help. And you might even see a familiar face, as I’ll be working a mix of face-to-face, visiting, and telephone shifts across the weekend.
Wishing you a very Happy Easter!
