🎗️ Baby Loss Awareness Week – 9th to 15th October 🎗️

This week, we join others across the country in turning pink and blue to remember all babies gone too soon, and to support families affected by pregnancy and baby loss. 💙💗

Baby Loss Awareness Week is a time for reflection, remembrance, and raising awareness of the impact of baby loss. It also helps to break the silence, encouraging conversations and ensuring that bereaved parents and families know they are not alone.

If you or someone you know has been affected, support is available. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us or to the dedicated charities offering help and comfort during such difficult times.

💜 On 15th October, the Wave of Light will take place, where candles are lit at 7pm across the world in remembrance.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, but early detection saves lives. This month is about raising awareness, encouraging regular checks, and supporting those affected. 💗

👉 Risk factors can include:
• Family history of breast cancer
• Alcohol, to***co, and high-fat diet
• Past history of cancer or obesity

👉 Prevention & early detection:
• Carry out monthly breast self-examinations
• Book a clinical breast examination annually
• Over 40? Speak to your GP about mammograms

If you notice any changes in your breasts – such as lumps, pain, ni**le discharge, or skin changes – please contact your GP as soon as possible.
