Elm ward's fantastic fundraiser has reached it's 25th donation on !

In case you haven't heard, the team are working together to raise £17,000 for a Sara Combilizer® - a multifunctional early mobilisation aid for patients on the ward.

✨Wishlist Wednesday!✨

Thanks to the generosity of both the Hunstanton & District Rotary & the Breast of Friends, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Breast Care Unit were able to purchase a new reclining couch. This allows patients to have a smoother process to be observed and feel a little bit more comfortable during a sensitive time.

The Hunstanton & District Rotary club annually decorate the town in 'bra bunting', to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise thousands of pounds for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn’s (QEH) Breast Care Unit.

The Breast of Friends is a local fundraising groupunited by shared experiences of cancer. They raise funds through various fundraising events throughout the year for both the Breast Care and Cancer Care Units at the hospital, helping to enhance patient care and support.

Recently Rudham Ward received a very generous donation from someone who had purchased their entire Amazon wish list.

They have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness, these toys and items for the ward will significantly impact the patients who are unwell in hospital.

Play can help children have a more positive experience of hospital, improving wellbeing, reduce anxiety, fear and stress associated with being in hospital. Additionally, through play, building resilience for children and young people can help them to cope and be better engaged with treatment.
