Miniature Donkeys for Therapy and Fun Providing visits to Schools, Care Homes, Weddings, Parties, Christmas events and more. We’re based in Norfolk and cover surrounding areas for hire purposes.

I’m Karen and have been running Donkeys for Therapy and Fun for over 12 years. We have a few special miniature Donkeys and Ponies that have been trained for the use of therapy animals for care homes, nursing homes and SEN schools. Along with our therapy animals we offer event hire for weddings, parties, fetes and any special occasions. Please note no animals can be ridden.

The donkeys had a great time meeting around 480 children and families and lots of carrots .They were loved by everyone

We nearly to the end of this year and we finish on Monday at Medleys pet shop in Swaffham
We will be tommorrow at care home in Thetford
Then a school in the afternoon
Sunday at Gaywood pavilion meet santa and the donkeys Christmas breakfast
Gt massingham live nativity at 3pm

This has been a full year for the donkeys
Last week we had a ward from Cambridge
Hospital come on transport to be with the donkeys
We were asked to go to the hospital however it seemed to long a journey for the donkeys so they came to us.
The donkeys are getting known all over the country
We get asked to travel all over the country for shows .weddings care.homes from the north to the south of England. Many corporate organisations .
I have to say no as I wont travel the donkeys only limited miles not putting them under any stress.
This year we have visited many care homes . Schools . Fetes . Birthdays .Hospice gardens .
Lots of sen children visits .wedding in pentney for our local police officers . Lights switch on in Burnham market .Fakenham .Hunstanton . Shops. Kelling hospital .many children's nurseries .nature group .and two dog shows
Many church visits
All our donkey walks .
The donkeys help so many organisations bringing so much happiness to so many people
I thank all my volunteers for all your support through the year .Also all the supporters of the donkeys that have helped support us through difficult times beginning of this year .

The donkeys are at gt massingham nativity on Sunday 3pm this week

Monday at Mutleys in Swaffham
