🐎💨 That’s a lot of horsepower… and none of it under the bonnet!

NEMS was out on Saturday providing medical cover for one of our regular favourites, West Norfolk Pony Club 🏅

The team spent a full 12+ hours at Forest Edge Area supporting a day of impressive (and very energetic) horse jumping.

Thankfully, no one needed more than a plaster and a cup of tea — the ponies, however, clearly missed the memo about taking breaks 😉

As always, it’s a pleasure working with such a fantastic club. Until next time! 🚑🐴

Better late than never… just like us when we’re making sure everyone’s safe 😉

Last weekend we had the pleasure of providing medical cover at the equestrian centre at Forest Edge Arena, and what a weekend it was!
Horses flying, riders shining, dust everywhere… and us on standby making sure the only thing racing was the horses 🐎💨

Big thanks to everyone involved — great atmosphere, great teamwork, and thankfully nothing more dramatic than sore legs and tired smiles.
Same time next event? We’ll bring the kit, you bring the jumps 👌

🥶🌊 Today’s medical cover at the Holkham Beach 5-Mile Race for Runners next the Sea was basically a masterclass in “how cold can a beach actually get?”

-1°C, icy wind, frozen sea water, frosty sand… honestly we’re still trying to feel our toes 😅

Huge crowds of runners, spectators, dog walkers (the dogs looked warmer than us 🐕😂) and the friendliest bunch of people you could ask for — all while the rain kindly decided to stay away for once 🙌

Massive congratulations to every runner who took on that beach, that wind, and that cold. You are officially tougher than us — because we absolutely could not do what you did 🏃‍♂️🔥

Thank you to Runners next the Sea for having us — a pleasure to support such a brilliant event and community ❤️

🥶❄️ Today’s medical cover at the Shouldham Warren Cross Country GP for Ryston Runners AC was brought to you by:

• Arctic temperatures
• Frosty fingers
• Mud in places mud should never be
• And a huge turnout of fearless runners 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The course was muddy, wet, slippery, and basically trying its best to defeat everyone… but the runners said “nah” and powered through anyway 💪👏

Massive respect to all the participants who turned up, raced hard, and only complained a normal amount about the weather 😜

Always a pleasure supporting such a brilliant event and club — thanks as always! 🙌

🎅❄️ Christmas Day, Hunstanton style! ❄️🎅

While most people were tucking into turkey and mince pies, yesterday NEMS was out on the sands providing medical cover for the Hunstanton Christmas Day Swim 🩺🌊 — proudly supporting Hunstanton and District Round Table 615.

The sea? Absolutely Baltic. 🥶
The sand between the toes? Questionable life choices.
The costumes? Next-level festive brilliance. 🎄🦌🎁

Hundreds turned out on Christmas Day to brave the freezing water, all in the name of charity, raising vital funds for local causes — and what a sight it was. Community spirit, courage, and cold water… lots of cold water!

Huge respect to everyone who took the plunge, the organisers who made it happen, and the incredible supporters who came along to cheer (and shiver) from the sidelines.

From all of us at NEMS — now that’s what we call a proper Christmas splash! 🎄💙
