Unfortunately we are having issues with our NHS internet link so we have been unable to download prescriptions since Thursday 26th February 2026. Please feel free to call us at the pharmacy on 01553 674019 if you have any queries, but any prescriptions requested after this date will not have been received. They can however be retrieved by any other pharmacy of your choice with your NHS number if you’ve run out.

Update:
We have our phone diverted to a mobile so are able to take calls but until the new handsets come the signal isn’t particularly great. We have been assured this shouldn’t be too long. But at least we are able to take your calls now.

We are aware we have an issue with our telephone line and are working on resolving this. Unfortunately we do not check the messages on Facebook regularly enough throughout the work day to use this as a form of communication. We will work to resolve the telephone line issue as quickly as possible.

Update - we’re now open for the rest of the day we managed to get our pharmacist back for now…

Unfortunately we are having to close at 3pm today due to having no pharmacist after this time. If you are planning to pick up your prescription please do so before this time in order for us to be able to hand it out.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we won’t be able to open fully until 10.30am this morning. We apologise for the inconvenience. So if you are planning to pick up a prescription please come after 10.30am. Our pharmacist is currently dealing with a family emergency.

Unfortunately due to sickness without a pharmacist we have had to close this afternoon. Any urgent scripts can be released for another pharmacy such as The Clock Pharmacy at gaywood to dispense for you. The surgeries have been notified.

It's that time of year... So who can have a free NHS flu vaccination at this pharmacy?

You may receive an NHS flu jab if you:
· Are 65 years of age or over on or before 31st March 2025
· Are pregnant*
· Are a carer*
· People with a BMI of 40 or greater*
· Are immunosuppressed* or a household contact of an immunosuppressed individual
· Have certain medical conditions* including:
*Asthma and COPD
*Heart disease
*Kidney disease
*Liver disease
*Neurological disease (except history of stroke or TIA)
*Diabetes
*Asplenia or splenic dysfunction
*patients must be 18 years of age or over
This free service is funded by NHS England.

If you do not qualify for a free NHS vaccination, you may receive one privately. This year the charge will be £20. These can be booked through our online booking service.
