Unfortunately we didn’t win the garden competition that we entered BUT we did receive certificate of participation in recognition of our support, SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF KINGS LYNN ANDY BULLEN! We presented the certificate to one of our residents who worked so hard on the garden! He feels extremely proud to have his hard work recognised as do we! 😊 Well done to everyone who helped and a big thankyou to those who donated ❤️

We had the pleasure of a visit from the lovely Michelle from CARES training Ltd, who came to meet, chat and listen to family members at our monthly coffee morning. Michelle is currently exploring what support is out there for families affected by dementia and wanted to hear directly from the families and friends of those who are affected.
Our coffee mornings are informal and a great place to come and have a chat and feel supported.

As our lovely Jess is getting married soon, the residents wanted throw her a hen party. They wanted to show Jess a good time and a good time is certainly what Jess had! From surprise visits from former colleagues, naughty games and even a visit from Hamish the stripper, it was a hen night to remember. Plenty of drinking, plenty of eating, plenty of dancing and plenty of laughter 😂 Cheers Jess from us all at Briar House and we wish you all the happiness in the world ❤️
