Our little choir practice this afternoon went really well, it really lifted the moods and left everyone with a little jiggle in their step 🎶🎵

Done some exercises thismorning, getting them moving whilst having a laugh and sing 🎶
We then went on to a bit of hand-eye coordination throwing the bean bags into the bucket followed by the balloon game seeing who can get the best streak!

Busy afternoon at Briar House today! While some residents enjoyed watching ‘The Wizard of Oz’ for movie afternoon, others spent time in the sunshine, either just enjoying the fresh air or busy working on ongoing projects.

A lot of singing today, picking some of the residents favourite songs, lots of laughter, dancing and singing. We love how music can bring back so many memories for everyone and each song has so many different meanings!

Derek’s Gentleman’s Club was enjoyed this afternoon in the activity room. Thank you Derek for your endless supply of chocolate biscuits! Also to Gregg from The Bridge For Heroes who comes not only to attend the Gentleman’s Club but also takes the time to do one to one visits around the home, supporting our veterans.
