This afternoon was full of chatting at our social where we had our record playing old movie and tv show soundtracks! We had a lot of tea and coffee along side biscuits and chocolates 🍫

This morning we had a lovely visit from KJ & The Catt! We went around and done bedroom visits so everyone gets a experience hearing them singing 🎶

Wow, what a fantastic turnout we had for our Afternoon Tea Fundraiser in support of The Bridge For Heroes We’re thrilled to share that we raised an amazing £100. The lovely Laura came to represent The Bridge for Heroes and was overjoyed at the amount raised!

A huge thank you to all the staff and family members who came along and supported the event. Thank you to our domestic staff member Kim Hyam for a quick turnaround of the dining room after dinner! An extra special thank you goes to Kelly for baking all of the delicious cakes — they were incredible!

And of course, a big thank you to Derek, head of the Gentleman’s Club, and all of its members for hosting such a wonderful event.

Enjoying our family and friends coffee morning

Yesterday afternoon we done arts and crafts, whilst some done colouring others done painting when we drew round our hands and decorated it to how the residents wanted. We also had cups of tea, coffee and music whilst others socialised 🎵

This morning started with a nice sing along with all different types of songs! We had Vera Lynn, elvis, pub medley, nursery rhymes and all sorts of songs people have heard! Everyone sang along and enjoyed it 🎶

This morning we had our very first visit from Jen’s Musical Moments , and what a wonderful session it was! There were plenty of baby cuddles to enjoy, along with lots of singing and dancing. A big thank you to Jen and all the lovely mums who joined us—we loved having you all there.

Lovely Saturday spent doing colouring with our work experience students and nail art! Residents really love a relaxing time chatting whilst getting them done! 💅
