👋 Meet Rahat — A gentle presence with a big heart! 💙

Rahat joined Goodwins 3 years ago as a carer and has been known ever since for his compassionate approach, great teamwork, and always being ready to lend a hand.

His light-hearted energy and friendly nature never fail to bring a smile to those around him. 😊

He’s also committed to growing professionally as he is currently working towards his NVQ in Health and Social Care, with hopes of becoming a Team Leader one day. We’re proud to support him on his journey!

This week, we’re celebrating the successful launch of The Lynn Link Up, led by Mari, our fantastic Customer Relationship Manager for Goodwins Hall and Amberley Hall Well done, Mari! 🎉

With our inspiring guest speaker Sarah Pocklington, we kicked things off with energy, ideas, and a shared vision for building stronger community connections.

It was a true pleasure to see people coming together to connect, share ideas, and collaborate. This is just the beginning, and we’re so excited about the opportunities ahead.

We're throwing it back to our lively Mexican-themed day — and what a day it was! 🎉

Residents, visitors and staff came together to enjoy the incredible energy, with music played by the fantastic KJ and The Catt. 🎶💃

The fun carried on around the fountain, with everyone moving to the rhythm and soaking in the festive atmosphere. It was a day full of colour, laughter, and unforgettable moments! 🌞💚

👋 Meet Sam – A True Pillar of Goodwins Hall 💜

Since 2001, Sam has poured love, care, and dedication into our home. From her early days as a night carer to her current role as Head of Housekeeping, she’s worn many hats and worn them well.

With 24 years of service, Sam is more than a team member, she’s family. Her warmth touches everyone she meets, and her commitment is second to none.

💬 Sam says: “Goodwins is like a family to me. I’ve spent 24 years here, and it truly feels like home.”

Outside work, she enjoys family time and looking after her three very pampered cats 🐾

What an unforgettable moment this week as we welcomed the Dementia Friendly Barbers into our home! ✂️💈

The atmosphere was absolutely electric, full of smiles, laughter, and heartfelt conversations. Our residents were beaming from ear to ear, and the joy was contagious! It’s amazing how a fresh haircut and a friendly chat can light up the whole room. 💬💫
