There were lots of laughs, great chats, and some brilliant stories about his Kung Fu days, a sport he was amazing at and still loves talking about 🥋✨

We were very pleased to welcome Michael Laird to Goodwins Hall, where he spent time with our residents sharing stories from his experience as a troop photographer in Afghanistan 📸🇦🇫

Michael also spoke about the many expeditions and travels he has taken over the years 🌍✈️, which our residents thoroughly enjoyed listening to. It sparked lots of interest and lovely conversations throughout the session 💬🙂

🎉🎂 A Century of Smiles for Ernest! 🎂🎉

Today we were delighted to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone as our much-loved resident Ernest turned 100 years young! 💯✨

Family and friends gathered at Goodwins Hall to mark this special occasion, filling the room with laughter, warmth and treasured memories.

From touching moments to joyful celebrations, it was a wonderful day honouring a life very well lived.

Happy 100th Birthday, Ernest. You are a true inspiration to us all! 🥳❤️
