The Home Instead Norfolk franchise group comprises of three franchises, West Norfolk, Mid Norfolk and North Norfolk. Present day it is run by Husband and Wife team Tom and Laura McEwan
The decision to go into care was made in 2008 after a local family member received very poor care, however, a family member in the north of England received a fantastic service from a Home Instead Senior Care branch. From the very beginning our aim has been to provide good quality care, enabling people to stay in their own familiar surroundings, improving the quality of life and to give piece of mind to the whole family. Each individual package is tailored to meet the needs and requirements on an outcome based care plan. We have now built a fantastic reputation across West Norfolk and have built relationships with various councils, hospitals & numerous health centres. The company now employs over 200 CAREGiver's from all walks of life, but each with the same goal in mind.... to provide the very best support and care to the elderly people across west Norfolk. We realise many elderly don’t like to be rushed. At Home Instead Senior Care we have a minimum of 1 Hour visits, that means that the service we provide is the very best available and our CAREGivers have the time to get to know our clients. No Strangers
Continuity is key, Our CAREGivers are matched to our clients' personalities and needs so that a bond can be struck up and over time trust can develop between the two. We have many clients who have just one regular CAREGiver, which enables a great service. With clients who require a significant amount of care (more than one visit daily) then we will make you aware of all the CAREGivers that will be coming in, we will come out and introduce you to any new CAREGivers, which rarely exceeds 3, even in the most complex of cases. Home Instead Senior Care was born due to our own experiences with poor care, we have filtered down our companies ethos to our teams of office staff and CAREGivers. We regularly keep in touch with our clients, be it a home visit or a telephone call to make sure that they are more than satisfied with the service and to see if we can help in any other ways.
