🍛 A Feast Made with Love at Friars Mead 🍛
This week, something very special happened at Friars Mead. Our wonderful Indian colleagues wanted to show their appreciation for the whole team — so they did what they do best. They cooked.
From scratch. From the heart.
Keema matar, aloo gobi, chicken curry, saag chicken, basmati rice, fresh chapattis, and cooling raita — a full, beautiful, homemade traditional Indian spread laid out entirely out of love for their colleagues.
Moments like this are what make Friars Mead such a special place to work. We are a team from many different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life — and we are richer for every single one of them.
To our incredible colleagues who cooked — thank you. Not just for the food (which was absolutely delicious!) but for the warmth, the generosity, and the reminder of why we love working together. 💛

☀️ A little sunshine, a latte, and good company — what more could you ask for?
Today, some of our residents enjoyed a beautiful morning out at The Rose & Crown — soaking up the spring sunshine on the terrace, sipping coffee and tea, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
Moments like these are exactly what life at Friars Mead is all about. We believe that great care means supporting the people we look after to live full, joyful lives — whether that's a quiet afternoon in the garden or a spontaneous outing to a favourite local spot.
