Taking sustainable actions to deliver social value 🌱

As a Logistics delivery partner to Multiplex Construction UK we are proud to be supporting several of their construction schemes including Minerva House in central London - an ambitious office redevelopment targeting BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 5* certification.

As part of our commitment to social value and the circular economy, our Environmental Advisor Megan Colbeck recently joined project team representatives and Plan Zheroes, helping to save 134kg of surplus food from going to waste in a single evening.

Plan Zheroes works to redistribute surplus food to charities and food banks, ensuring it reaches those who need it most in the community. We are proud of the impact we’re making to turn our sustainability commitments into action and deliver lasting value beyond the built environment.

Open Doors 2026 🏗️

We are proud to have delivered another successful event, hosted by Munnelly Support Services in partnership with our client and fellow Build UK member, Related Argent at Brent Cross Town.

We welcomed young people from the local area, including students from Barnet and Southgate College, Middlesex University, and The Skills Centre in Edgware, to provide them with an understanding of pathways into the construction sector and the breadth of career opportunities available.
This initiative forms part of Brent Cross Town’s ongoing commitment to projects focused on employment, skills development, training, and education.

Everyone that attended showed curiosity and enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions and actively participating in discussions. It was particularly rewarding that 100% of attendees expressed a clear interest in pursuing careers in construction and exploring opportunities further; a fantastic outcome that reflects the importance of initiatives such as Open Doors in shaping future talent.

Thank you to everyone involved in making the event such a success. The professionalism and collaboration shown by all teams on site played a key role in delivering a meaningful and engaging experience for our visitors, and we look forward to continuing to support initiatives that inspire the next generation and promote the opportunities within our industry.

Open Doors 2026 🏢

As proud members of Build UK we are excited to be taking part in , and yesterday welcomed a group of students to our head office.

Throughout the day, members of our team delivered a variety of presentations and interactive activities designed to give real insight into our industry. Sessions covered key areas of our business including operations, health & safety, business development, sustainability, teamwork, and highlighted how these all come together to successfully deliver projects.

We also spoke about the many different entry routes into construction, from apprenticeships to graduate pathways, and the wide-ranging career progression opportunities available across the sector. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with and inspire the next generation, while showcasing the diversity, innovation and impact of careers in construction.

Supporting pathways into employment 🫴

Earlier this week we were proud to attend an employment fair hosted by and be part of such a well-organised and impactful event. It was great to meet so many motivated candidates and connect with individuals ready to take the next step in their careers.

A big thank you to the organisers and partners, including and .housing whose support made a real difference in helping candidates feel prepared and confident.

The turnout was brilliant, and it was especially encouraging to see such a strong focus on creating opportunities for local people, including those facing barriers to employment. Events like this truly highlight the power of collaboration between employers, training providers, and community partners. We were particularly impressed by the quality of candidates and the positive energy throughout the day. It’s no surprise that multiple interviews took place on the spot and job offers were made which was an excellent outcome for everyone involved.

We’re looking forward to future events and continuing to support initiatives that drive real employment opportunities and community impact.

Turning construction waste into opportunity ♻️

Last week our Operations Director and Environmental Advisor visited our subcontractor partner at their Waste Management facility in Swanscombe, Kent to see first-hand how modern waste processing supports a more sustainable construction industry.

The visit provided valuable insights into how total waste management works in practice; from the segregation and recovery of materials to the recycling and repurposing of construction waste. Seeing these processes up close reinforces the importance of responsible waste handling across every stage of a project.

At Munnelly Support Services, we are committed to diverting waste from landfill across all of our construction projects. By working closely with trusted waste management partners and continually improving how materials are managed on site, we aim to maximise recycling rates and support a more sustainable, circular approach to construction.

A big thank you to the team at RTS Waste Management for hosting the visit and showcasing the vital work being done to keep valuable materials out of landfill.

This week, we’re proud to celebrate and the impact apprentices have across our organisation.

Apprenticeships represent a great pathway to longer term careers, whilst giving people the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain meaningful experience. We’re passionate about investing in our people and supporting progression at every stage. Supporting individuals like Jacob as they develop their skills, build confidence, and shape their futures is exactly why apprenticeships matter so much to us.

Celebrating success at West End Gate 🏆

Munnelly Support Services are incredibly proud to be the Logistics Partner to on their West End Gate development, and this week we celebrated our logistics team onsite whose outstanding attention to detail and consistently high standards across Operations and Health & Safety earnt them recognition as our ‘Project of the Month’. To celebrate, the team shared celebratory pizzas delivered by our leadership team.

Proud to be Safe at .city.living 🦺

Congratulations to Qadar, part of our Logistics Team working with on their White City Living development, who won the December 2025 Proud to be Safe award.

Nominated for his commitment to safety, Qadar worked as part of a team to manage and mitigate the impact of heavy rainfall on the project, keeping the site safe and operational.

Yesterday our CEO - Paul David Munnelly, and Managing Director - Meg Reed, were proud to attend a reception in celebration of 10 years of Build UK. The event brought together over 150 industry representatives who together promote the value of construction and drive change that strengthens the sector for the benefit of our industry, our clients and the UK economy.

As members of Build UK, it was a privilege to reflect on the great work of the organisation over the last 10 years, and we look forward towards new and exciting opportunities for the construction sector.

Looking ahead, the project will continue with the creation of an edible garden, along with additional volunteering days focused on joinery and carpentry.
