Paula from Frankie's gift shop on Fore Street Kingsbridge is running an arts night for teens over 16 to meet, talk (or just be there) and create (if they want to) art around different anime, manga and game art. I have just finished watching this TED Talk about the problems of the US education system. Many of which exist in the UK education system. The points he makes are correct. But! This was made in April 2013, and nothing has improved the system. In fact, more children are being home educated and experiencing chronic and debilitating mental health issues. What has to happen to facilitate change?!
