CITIZENS ADVICE CHRISTMAS INFORMATION
There will be no Citizens Advice outreach at Quay House on Tuesday 23rd and 30th of December.

The weekly service will resume on Tuesday 6th January 2026 (9.30am - 12.30pm).

Their office at Follaton House, Totnes, will be closed from 12pm on Wednesday 24 December, re-opening on Friday 2 January at 10am.

Our Intergenerational Family Get Together planned for 20 December will now take place on Saturday 24 January, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Everyone who has already booked will be contacted with the option of a refund or to carry tickets forward to the new date.

Our Community Christmas Dinner on Friday 19th December is still going ahead as planned - with one place remaining.

An update from Tumbly Hill

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, our Intergenerational Family Get Together, planned for Saturday 20 December, has been postponed and will now take place on Saturday 24 January.

Happily, our Community Christmas Dinner on Friday 19 December is still going ahead as planned. We now have just one place left, so if you were hoping to join us, please do get in touch as soon as possible.

Moving the intergenerational event to January gives us the chance to create a post-Christmas, Robbie Burns–inspired celebration - something to look forward to as the winter weeks draw on.

We’ll be contacting everyone who has already booked to offer the option of a full refund, or to carry their ticket forward to the new date - whichever works best for them.

We appreciate that this last-minute change may be disappointing for some, and thank you very much for your understanding. We’ll share more details about the rescheduled event very soon.

In the meantime, we’re very much looking forward to celebrating our first Tumbly Hill Christmas Dinner with guests on Friday 19 December.

It's the last Devon Mental Health Alliance recovery drop in session of the year at Tumbly Hill on Tuesday 16th.

A little birdie told me they're having a Christmas party 😉

Feel free to come along and meet everyone, speak to one of the facilitators and see whether this is the right wellbeing group to support you in 2026 💕

This group is free to attend, and facilitated by 2 trained Recovery Practitioners with lived experience

Would you like to improve your mental health, but you’re not sure where to go or who to ask? Visit one of our Mental Health & Recovery Drop-in sessions. We offer warm & welcoming spaces across Devon, hosted by our brilliant staff who can help you find the right support or can just be a listening ear👂All of our drop-ins are free, open spaces where everyone is welcome to come, chat or just sit and have a hot drink☕️ There is no booking necessary, just turn up during the session time and someone will be there to welcome you in.

December's activity schedule has now been published 😍

Paper copies can be collected from Tumbly Hill reception. We will also be leaving copies at Kingsbridge Information Centre (Hello Kingsbridge) and Kingsbridge Town Council

I will be updating our website events calendar in the next couple of days with more detailed information about each activity. I'll also get a PDF version of the schedule uploaded to our website for you to download. (We're slowly getting there with our marketing!)

It's so great to be here at the UK Dementia Congress and to be able to share how we're developing our intergenerational community model for dementia support.

We'll be posting regular updates over the next couple of days

Excited to be attending the UK Dementia Congress in Manchester for the next two days.

And tomorrow I'll be presenting! 🤩

This will be my first presentation at a national conference. I'll be sharing our journey saving from closure and how we're reimagining dementia care in our community.

We're thrilled to announce that we were awarded a 5-star rating by the Food Standards Agency following a thorough inspection by the Environmental Health Officer this afternoon 😀

Congratulations to everyone on the Next Steps Together team - the inspector was very impressed by our food prep, hygiene and monitoring standards 👏
