Our Community Open Day wouldn’t have been the same without the brilliant people who came to share their knowledge and support:

✨ Jim (Devon Breathers) - demonstrating breathing techniques that make a real difference for people living with lung conditions.
✨ Ben (South Dartmoor Community Energy) - giving practical advice on reducing household bills and making homes more energy efficient.
✨ Steve (Learn Devon) - introducing the digital skills, confidence-building and NHS App courses that run regularly here at Tumbly Hill.
✨ Ruby & Lindsay (Devon Mental Health Alliance) - welcoming people to find out more about the weekly wellbeing drop-in group, offering support and connection.

This carousel is just a snapshot of our collaboration ethos which lies at the heart of Next Steps Together and Tumbly Hill. 💜 We’re so grateful to each of you for giving up your Saturday and bringing your expertise, kindness and energy to our launch. Thank you for being part of the Hub’s growing programme.

Thank you, Alice from Paper Bird Island!

Our Community Open Day was bursting with creativity, thanks to Alice, who led colourful papier-mache making, fairy door painting and facepainting throughout the day.

Her table was buzzing with energy and imagination, and it was wonderful to see children and adults crafting side by side.

Paper Bird Island's warm and friendly atmosphere sums up exactly what Tumbly Hill is all about: everyone welcome, everyone included, everyone creating something together ❤️

Thank you Alice for bringing your skills and creativity to our launch day - we hope to share more creative moments with you at Tumbly in the future 😀

What a day at Tumbly Hill!

Our Community Open Day was packed with music, laughter, crafts, therapy tasters, games, and lots of cream teas and cake.

Thank you to everyone who came along, volunteered, performed, presented and shared the day with us.

This is just the beginning of an exciting new venture. Tumbly Hill is now officially open as a community wellbeing hub for Kingsbridge, with a growing timetable of groups and activities that spans all generations.

Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing more photos of our incredible launch day to celebrate the partners, facilitators and visitors who made it such a success - keep an eye out for the highlights.

Thank you Michael Chequer from BBC Radio Devon for welcoming us onto the show this morning to talk about Tumbly Hill and our Community Open Day tomorrow.

It was an amazing experience going into the BBC studios in Plymouth, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Would love to go back and do it again some time!
