We've finally got this blog post feature figured out on our website! Look out for latest updates on events, new services and regular spotlights on our wonderful volunteers!

Save the date! πŸ˜€ Join us on Saturday 6th June for our first Volunteering Together Day at Tumbly Hill.

Volunteering offers the chance to learn new skills, share experience, and be part of something that feels worthwhile and makes a difference. It can build confidence, spark new interests, and bring people into contact with others they might not otherwise meet.

This event on Saturday 6th June brings together voluntary groups, charities and community organisations, alongside people who may be thinking about volunteering, but don't quite know what they would like to do, or how to go about finding the right organisation to join.

For organisations, this is an opportunity to network, share ideas, and explore how working more closely together can strengthen the support available.

For the community, it is a chance to see what opportunities are available, ask questions, and find something that feels like a good fit.

Important update – Saturday 24 January at Tumbly Hill

Sadly, due to staff illness, we’ve had to cancel our planned Burns lunch on Saturday 24 January. We’re really sorry for the disappointment and appreciate your understanding.

However, we will still be open on Saturday and very happy to welcome people in for:

β˜• Light refreshments and delicious cake (in lieu of haggis!)
🎲 Games and puzzles to enjoy together

If you fancy some company, or would simply like to escape the rain forecast for the weekend, do join us from 12.00–1.30pm for a free cuppa and a chat.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support πŸ’›

These mobile phone app courses, delivered free by Learn Devon, at Tumbly Hill, help you gain confidence, build connections and grow friendships.

One participant sent her first ever email, and started using WhatsApp for messages and video calls. "Nobody's ever taken the time to show me this before, and now I can see my grandchildren every week! "
