🦀💛 What a fantastic day at Salcombe Crab Fest!

We had such a lovely time meeting families, speaking with members of the local community, and sharing more about how The Fidget Project supports children with sensory processing differences and their families.

Thank you to everyone who came over to chat, ask questions, support us, and help spread awareness. Community events like this are so important in helping us create understanding, connection, and support for families who need it most 🌿

The system is cutting back. We are not. 💛

A new Sutton Trust poll has found that 7 in 10 schools have reduced teaching assistants in the past year, and many expect further cuts ahead.

For families of neurodivergent children, we know this is something you may already be feeling.

If school feels harder right now… you are not imagining it.

This is not a failure of schools. So many teachers, SENCOs and support staff are doing everything they can. But the reality is that the gap between what children need and what the system can provide is growing.

Please know: you do not have to navigate this alone.

We are here to help families understand their child’s sensory needs, support difficult conversations with schools, and provide reassurance before, during and after diagnosis.

Join us for our next Sensory Processing Differences Support Session

Our Tuesday afternoon sessions during term-time at Kingsbridge Community Hub offer a welcoming space for parents, carers and allies of neurodivergent children to drop in, explore resources and connect with others in the community.

✨ Browse our lending library with sensory tools, books, fidget resources and supportive equipment available to borrow
🤝 Meet others navigating similar journeys
☕ Take a moment for yourself in a warm and supportive environment

In addition, we have two 45-minute bookable 1:1 sessions with Lynne Tarrab-Snooks available every Tuesday for parenting, relationship and life coaching support.
