This morning our residents were sung to and entertained by the lovely Laura (Everysing) with songs from the 1950's. Songs from back in the day that our residents remember like it was yesterday. Songs that made them remember their younger days. Music is so emotive and makes your mind travel back in time to when life was so good and so different 🎶🎤🎵💜

PS - We LOVED the dress Laura was wearing!!!

This morning we planted Sunflowers. We should see them starting to bloom in 3 weeks, and we should really see something blooming marvelous by June. I shall keep an eye on them and keep you posted as time goes on. The residents who took part, have all written their names on the labels. Let is see whose Sunflower/s grow the tallest!!! 🌻🌻🌻

This morning we had musical treats in the form of the Legend that is Mike Scurfield. Singing songs from the wartime era, pub songs and some cockney tunes. Even 'Elvis' made a brief appearance 🎺🎶🎵🎤

We have had such a musical week, it's been great! Tuesday afternoon we had Stella, the Music Lady with her "Health For Music" therapy session. Banging percussion instruments, waving pom poms, cunductor sticks and banners. A musical quiz and a sing a long thrown in for fun.

This morning our residents were entertained by Jasmine with classic songs from the 50's & 60's. Lots of singing and dancing along to the songs our residents know and love from back in their day!!!

All the Staff and Residents wish Doug a speedy recovery and send well wishes and love to him. He was very much missed by our ladies.

And also, a BIG THANK YOU to our two Jodies for being Jasmine's back up dancers 🎤🎶🎵👯‍♂️💜
