Summer Holidays……. Not really. We are busy working on a number of projects for various clients. One of which is the Devon Partnership Trust, in conjunction with Kirkham Board Associates, and rebuilding a retaining wall at the Redhills Centre in Exeter.
With a large traffic management presence and a good portion of a very old wall taken down we are in the final straight in getting the job completed……….its really starting to come together.

We may have more exciting news in the next few weeks…….

We at Charteroak (South West) Limited have been working hard on some vital projects for Devon Partnership Trust in conjunction with Kirkham Board Associates.
The works consisted of a new replacement fuel tank to power the generators to Wonford House, Exeter, who provide essential care and treatment to the area………and should the power go down (which could happen recently) can continue to operate this vital service. The new, smaller but far more efficient tank was to be installed in a tucked away corner of the Hospital and required to work around existing services.

We also had to expertly remove an existing 28,000 ltr fuel tank and bund from site and dispose of accordingly.
Lots of things to consider on this project logistically………..another project completed

So it’s been 12 months since we left the newly refurbished Crisis Cafe refurbishment at Torbay Hospital, and this week we returned to undertake the final “snagging”. This was a £650k project and the list only compiled of EIGHT items, following a walkthrough by the project team and stakeholders. This is an amazing testament to our team at Charteroak (South West) Limited and partners with the time, effort and care they put in……… it still even looks amazing!!!

This week we completed a small but vital examination room in Ivybridge Healthcare clinic for the Devon Partnership Trust.
I’ve always said that the small projects take just as long and are more complex than the bigger ones……….. there is less room and nowhere to hide!!!!!!
The team did fantastically well and organised each trade to come in after each other……. Finishing a week early.

We are currently working on some houses in Exeter fixing down existing copings…… we were going to use a hop up……. But far easier with this beast!!!!!

We have completed another project!!!!
We are proud to continue our association with Plainmoor Community Swimming Pool and complete the newly installed Energy Saving Works including solar panels and new LED lighting throughout the building including over the pool!!!!
We had been set a tight timescale, and budget to spend the awarded grant money that had been obtained by the extremely hard working committee that tirelessly works behind the scenes to keep this valuable community asset open.

And just like that…….we are done. Huge congratulations to the Charteroak (South West) Limited team. You have truly made this project a “one of a kind”.
It is now with the Simply Green Estate Agents to realise its true value and give someone a brand new home
