Really shocked, as someone who I respected within the aesthetics industry, is actually all about selling and making money and encouraging doctors and nurses to leave the NHS…. (I attended their seminar)…

Aesthetics should be about making people feel and look better…

Prices can vary massively on treatments…
Factors include:

1 - Where the products are purchased (are they regulated)
2 - Type of products (the original product or cheaper alternative)
3 - Level of practitioner training
4 - Experience
5 - Working location (hygienic setting)
6 - Out for a quick buck? Or wanting to create optimal results with a clients facial anatomy?

Consent forms have to be completed and stored in the correct manner (for data protection).

Insurance is an absolute MUST

Medical fridge is an absolute MUST

Medical waste management/clearance is a MUST

Having a prescriber for several aesthetic medications is REQUIRED BY LAW.

Consultations for pre-skin assessment/mental assessment are imperative!

Only ONE practitioner, who responded in the comments, was about helping achieve a better practice for their clients…. All the others were in aesthetics purely to make money (one even mentioned she wanted to afford a pair of shoes)… This deeply concerns me on every level imaginable, and I am actually questioning, whether to be in this industry when hardly anyone seems to be here for the RIGHT REASONS!!
