Customer Announcement - Costello Stadium, Car Park

Costello Stadium is open as usual, however, please note that the car park will be closed for essential building work from today, Monday 17 November to Friday 21 November, between 9am and 5pm each day. The car park will reopen after 5pm daily and will return to normal next week.

The stadium remains open as usual throughout this period. Alternative parking is available on nearby streets or Peter Pan end of the park, and pedestrian access and cycle lockers will remain in use.

Every Wednesday you can take a part in High Intensity Interval Workout which is very sweaty full body session.
Then you can relax on stretch and tone straight afterwards.

Thursdays are focused on full body as well but it's strength training with cardio elements for better fitness level, then you are going to discover your body's potential and improve mobility and flexibility πŸ’ͺ

If you want to join make sure you book your session before as spaces are now very limited 😊

I didn’t like my arms, I thought they were fat and shapeless compared to the rest of my body πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I avoided upper body exercises or did the bare minimum, using light dumbbells and cranking out dozens of repetitions. What a mistake that was! πŸ™…πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

The problem wasn’t body fat – it was the lack of muscle πŸ™†πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I changed three things:

1️⃣ Nutrition.
I increased my daily protein intake – the building block of muscles. I choose diverse sources and don’t get fooled by protein yogurts with added sugar. I go for unprocessed dairy (not β€œlow-fat”), eggs, meats, and plant-based sources that also provide fiber.

2️⃣ Supplementation.
I resisted using creatine with all my might, but recent research shows it’s essential for women. Fortunately, my company created the perfect product I could trust, and I started seeing improvements in my body composition.

3️⃣ Training.
I picked up heavier dumbbells – I don’t even touch anything under 5kg anymore. Fewer reps, more sets, more resistance. Plus recovery, so my plan is focused on building strength and muscle mass, which also means reducing body fat.

I still have a lot of work ahead, but now I know I’m on the right track πŸ’ͺ
