What a year 2025 has been for the Pure Block Management team!

We've delivered meaningful projects, supported our residents, and worked closely with our fantastic contractors and partners across every development we manage. None of this would have been possible without our dedicated team.

Here are just a few of our highlights this year:

🏢 Marked the first anniversary of our new York office, a key milestone in our continued growth.

🤝 Welcomed four brilliant new team members — Laura (Associate Director), George (Compliance Manager), Jasmine (Property Management Apprentice), and Sam (Accounts Assistant).

🏙️ Took on 14 new properties managed from our York office and another three blocks managed from our Hull office, further strengthening our regional presence.

🏗️ Managed four cladding remediation projects, with onsite works now underway on two of them.

📚 Invested in team training and professional development, strengthening our collective expertise.

📆 Attended the Oxford Weekender, the TPI Annual Conference in London, and the News on the Block Leaseholder Roadshow in Birmingham.

🏆 And capped off the year by being shortlisted for two national Property Management Awards, earning Highly Commended in the Scale Up Property Management Company of the Year category!

Well, it's safe to say that across the Garness Group, the Pure Block Management team are the ultimate desk decorating champions 🏆🧑‍🎄
Congratulations, Louise Doyle, Lizzie Gibson, and Sarah Robinson, on your brilliant festive displays, which won 1st and 2nd place in the friendly group competition.

There's clearly been some very productive lunch breaks, with the office now feeling extra festive (all while our Elf & Safety Officer, Bob, kept a very close eye 👀🧑‍🎄).

Great effort from everyone who took part — you've definitely brought the Christmas spirit into the Hull and York offices!

It's that time of year again! The Pure Block Management team, alongside our sister companies, Garness Jones and Gro Residential, are partaking in the Garness Group Christmas buffet — an annual tradition in the Hull office where everyone brings a dish (preferably a festive one) to share.

What a fantastic evening celebrating a year of hard work with our sister companies, Garness Jones and Barry Crux & Company.

The Christmas celebrations are in full swing for the Garness Group team in York.

Last night, the Barry Crux & Co team, along with our sister companies Garness Jones and Pure Block Management, gathered for festive celebrations.

We headed to Rustique Restaurant in York for delicious food, drinks and plenty of giggles.

A lovely way to round off a brilliant year and toast to all our hard work and collaboration.

PS Janet did join us, but managed to sneak out of the limelight 😆

Kirbys in Whitby = Project Complete!

We're delighted to have completed the sensitive restoration of this beautiful former Georgian hotel, now modern residential apartments on Whitby's West Cliff.

From carefully preserving historic features to creating high-quality living spaces, this project was a real team effort. A huge thank-you to our team and partners, including Gannon Developments, LHL Group Ltd, and Sky Scaffolding, for their dedication and collaboration.
