Today we said our goodbyes to Hughie. From being a young man he loved & provided for his family. He very rarely bought things for himself although his beloved wife, son & his two grandsons could have whatever they wanted. Becoming a dad & a grandad were his proudest moments.
We heard a beautiful, heartwarming tribute from his son. Hughie will never be forgotten, his legacy will always live on ❤️

On a beautiful crisp, cold but sunshiny day we said our farewell to Tilly. A mum who was loving & nurturing. Life threw her some challenges & sadness but she got through those dark days. Tilly’s family adored her & she will live in their hearts for always. ❤️

Our handsome Danish fisherman Vagn know as Johnny sailed into Hull on 27th March 1957 & not long after met the love of his life Alice. The couple were married for 64 years. They went on to have 5 sons & one daughter. He loved his seafaring days & his sons all followed in his footsteps. Johnny would often say ‘I’d love to go to the sea again and smell the salt and feel the freshness of the air’
Just over 4 weeks ago I had the privilege of leading Alice’s service. When she had passed Johnny made the decision to stop all his treatment & today Alice & Johnny were reunited. ❤️Although the family are heartbroken they found some comfort in knowing that they are back together ❤️💙
