🌟From debilitating stroke to swimming 100 lengths for charity - Vicki's smashed it! 🌟

We're so proud of our community member Vicki, who recently took on a fundraising challenge to swim 100 lengths and raise £500. She beat her target and managed to raise a swim-credible £520 - even more amazing since she's a non-swimmer! 🏊‍♀️

Vicki's come a really long way since a stroke at the age of 26 left her paralysed down her left side. Far from being able to swim 100 lengths, it meant she had to learn how to walk and talk again - changing her life in ways she could never have imagined.

Vicki lived with her acquired brain injury for a number of years before joining our community. Now she enjoys coming along to our social sessions and meeting other brain injury survivors like her, to share recovery stories and build new friendships.

Her story just goes to show that no matter how long you've been on your recovery journey, our centre is always open for you - and with determination and passion, you really can achieve whatever you put your mind to 🔥

Welcome to my page. 🙂

I am a Ladies only Massage Therapist and Reflexologist and I work from home on Kingswood. My beautiful treatment room is very calming and smells fantastic due to my diffuser.
As you can see I’m no spring chicken 🐓
I am 59, 4’11” and definitely not glamorous. I want every lady who comes to me feel comfortable and chat to everyone beforehand.
I totally understand if you have concerns about body image and have had ladies say “I don’t want break your bed.” Please be rest assured this will not happen! My bed takes up-to 30 stone. It is very stable, wider and also lower than most beds.
I adapt every massage to suit individual requirements and all my treatments are super relaxing.
If you are looking for a deep tissue massage or sports massage then I am not the therapist for you.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Opening hours: I start at 10am and take my last booking at 6pm (Monday-Friday) I no longer week weekends!

Friday 30th - I have now completed my 100 lengths in January.
It’s certainly not been an easy challenge but I did it!
I am keeping my Just Giving page open until 14th February if anyone would like to sponsor me.
