Being able to say goodbye to someone you love and care about in these difficult times is important, as it not only helps you to start your long journey of healing, but it also helps you to stop and reflect on the life of your loved ones, and turn sadness and tears into memories and laughter, as you celebrate the legacy they have left behind.
Whilst a few restrictions may have been put in place, such as having to make your own way to the funeral service, although there is nothing to stop you still following the Hearse in your own vehicle, funeral services are still very much on going within the Hull area.
There maybe a limit of ten people only allowed in the chapel for the service, however, we are very fortunate that both Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium and Haltemprice Crematorium both offer a webcast service, which means that friends and relatives that are unable to attend because they are perhaps vulnerable, ill or live outside of the local area, are still able to celebrate the life of the deceased and watch the service take place live.
So don't let Covid 19 stop your loved one having the send off they deserve. Ask your Funeral Director for details when arranging your service.
