At the Carers Information and Support Service we aim to increase the support and develop the service offer to meet the needs of unpaid carers in Hull.

If you are an unpaid carer, we would appreciate if you could complete this short survey to share your views on respite provisions that could support you in your caring role.

Our Emergency Carers Card is your back up plan as an unpaid carer.

It ensures that if you are not able to provide your caring role due to an accident of emergency situation, support can be arranged by calling the number on the card.
Please contact us on 01482 22 22 20 for more information.

If you have a carers card that has expired or it needs updating, please call us.

If you have ever lost a loved one, why not join Hull Minster for company, coffee and cake?

They provide a friendly space and an opportunity to chat on the second Wednesday of every month 10.30am to 12noon.

The next meeting is on the 11th of February 2026.

If you have a friend who needs support or feels alone, please pass this on.

Our next West Carers Cuppa Group takes place on the 3rd of February at Home from Hospital , Arcon Drive, Hull - 10am-12:30pm.

Come and join us, you can bring to person you care for with you, a friend, or a family member too.

Our Carers Book Group returns to Hull Central Library takes place on the 2nd of February.

It takes place at Central Library in Hull City Centre, 11am-12:30pm.

All unpaid carers are welcome.

For anyone who is going through a bereavement, Dove House Hospice have created a guide that will hopefully help families navigate the days and weeks after they have lost a loved one.

The period after someone has died can be very hard, it’s a time when there are often strong emotions but also a time when the next of kin has to make necessary arrangements.

We're delighted to be once again taking part in the Warm Spaces initiative, which runs during winter months until Friday 28 March. ❄️

Our building on Ferensway will be open to anyone who needs a warm space and a hot drink, every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 11.00am – 4.00pm. ☕
