Last Thursday was our Easter Party (pictures to follow) but we also got to present March's Trustee Award!
This one went to PT.
PT has been working really hard with staff and specialist services to help manage his emotions and behaviours. Following vast improvements, he has now been discharged from specialist services after more than 10 years! This is such huge progress for PT and having an old nurse there from the service to help present the award was a pleasure.

Our Chair of Trustees, Andy, is taking part in Mission 32, for prostate cancer research, walking, cycling or running 32 miles over the whole of March. This is 1 mile for every man that dies of this disease in the UK each day.

A lot of our service users are now at an age where this is something extra to consider and so means a lot to Andy and to us all.
If you can, a donation no matter how small helps.

Today G was presented with February's Unity Trust Bank Trustee Award. G has been doing brilliant work down at the farm, helping to clean and feed the animals, along with planting new plants, even bringing one home to continue looking after 🌱

Looking forward to seeing March's nominations, with that award being presented at our annual Easter Party.

Our students at Matthews Enterprise had a day trip to York today to pick some new Pygmy Goats for the farm.
We have Betsie, Tinkerbell, Tiza and Toffee, who will be making their way to the site in May after a bit more growing 🥰

Christmas wishes to all our workers over the festive period

Yesterday was an amazing day at our Christmas Party, including a visit from Santa and his elf, buffet food donated from Cranswick, visitors presenting a generous donation towards our Matthews Enterprise Day Centre, and our account manager at attending to present our very first Trustee Award sponsored by Unity Trust Bank.
Also not forgetting a special 40th birthday for one of our service users too.
