Dove House Hospice is a core part of the health provision in the region, providing excellent services and support to residents of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We rely heavily on the help of our volunteers and the local community for their support and generosity to ensure we raise the funds required to continue the excellent work we are known for.

WOW! 🤩 Another incredible month of fundraising!

We are constantly blown away by the amazing people in our community and beyond who take on personal challenges to support Dove House Hospice. A massive "thank you" and "well done" this month to:

🏃‍♂️ Andy: took on the Copenhagen Marathon!
👟James took on the Beverley 10K!
🏅 Megan & Mark: smashed their Leeds Marathon challenges!
🏃‍➡️Tim completed the MK Marathon Weekend!
👟Tom: completed the Great Ocean Road Half Marathon, Melbourne!
This last weekend ....
🚲 Paul & Andy: Cycled the Way of the Roses Coast to Coast, over 170 miles in a day!
🚴‍♀️Jessica set off on Sunday from Southport cycling to Hornsea, and hopes to arrive tomorrow!

Your dedication, training, and fundraising efforts are truly inspiring. Every step you take and every pound you raise makes a huge difference to the patients and families we care for. Thank you for being hospice heroes!

Join us for Strictly Learn to Dance in 2027.

Have you always wanted to learn to dance? 💃🕺

Do you want to make a real difference to people in Hull and East Yorkshire living with a progressive life limiting illnesses?

Do you have friends and family who will come and watch the show?

Can you pledge to raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship?

You will take on the ultimate dance challenge by learning 2 dances in 12 weeks and perform them at our show stopping live finale on Friday 9th April at Hull's iconic City Hall to compete to win the coveted glitter ball trophy. 🪩

Rehearsals start in January and take place every Thursday night at 7pm-9pm.

We ask all our dancers to raise a minimum of £500 and sell at least 18 tickets to the show at Hull City Hall on Friday 9th April 2027.

We are in urgent need of Catering Volunteers to help at our Sunday Car Boot events!

This volunteer role is key to helping to raise vital funds for the hospice, sparing even a few hours a week makes such a difference! There is no experience needed for this role.

The role would include:
👉 Counter service
👉 Sandwich preparation (Food hygiene level 2 required)
👉 General car boot support

This weekend we welcome back our Beverley Open Gardens on Sunday 24th May, 10am–4pm! 🌿🌸

With just a few days to go, here are the locations of all our gardens this year so you can plan your route in advance.

Please note: this map is not valid for entry. Programmes, which include your ticket, garden descriptions, and map, will be available to purchase from our Dove House Beverley Shop in advance and on the day, 2 Toll Gavel, Beverley HU17 9AJ. A limited number will also be available at each garden.

Unfortunately, as many of our garden hosts have their own dogs and cats, we kindly ask that no dogs attend on Sunday. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

A big thank you to arco for your ongoing support and your most recent donation 💚

Through taking part in our Easter Egg raffle and your continued support, you were able to raise a fantastic amount which will ensure that here at Dove House, we can continue to provide the care and support to local people with life limiting illnesses and their families 🕊️
