Dove House Hospice is a core part of the health provision in the region, providing excellent services and support to residents of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We rely heavily on the help of our volunteers and the local community for their support and generosity to ensure we raise the funds required to continue the excellent work we are known for.

What an absolutely fantastic day! A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Santa Pub to Pub Walk in East Hull on Saturday 6th December 2025 in support of Dove House Hospice and our Charity Partners, RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire ❤️

From all the amazing walkers who suited up as Santa and brought the festive spirit, to the wonderful local pubs who welcomed us along the route with open arms, Punchbowl Hull The Saltshouse Tavern, The Royal Charter Hull, The Mill (Hull) Pelican Pub Hull and The Lambwath, we couldn’t have done it without you all 🍻✨

A huge thank you to KCOM and the Hull Seahawks for visiting Dove House Hospice and donating these wonderful teddies 🧸💙

They will be used to support children attending our bereavement groups and to bring comfort to patients and families on our In-Patient Unit.

We loved showing you around the hospice and introducing you to our Friday Friends group, who really enjoyed the visit.

The Living Well Group is a small, friendly and supportive group for adults living with a progressive, life-limiting illness. It focuses on emotional wellbeing and creating a safe space to connect, share and feel supported. 💛

Service user Kathryn said..
"The first time I went, I was very nervous and apprehensive, but I needn’t have worried. The staff were very warm and welcoming. I met the rest of the group, and very quickly felt comfortable and part of the group. I loved the skills and tools we were, week by week, being given under the guidance of the staff. Relaxation, meditation, exercise, and mindfulness through craft. Each session I arrived at Dove House I left feeling better than when I arrived"

Choose your challenge, choose your fundraising target; and let us know about it. We can then help you along the way with sponsor forms, t-shirts, fundraising ideas and any thing else you need. 👕

Whether you want to go solo or get together, there are plenty of activities you can choose from. You could choose from many organised events, Marathons, 10ks, Tough Mudder, or organise your own Skydive, cycle, walk, swim and so much more, no matter what level of fitness you have. 🚴‍♂️🏊🏃‍♂️

We’re not setting any deadlines or time limits either. Your challenge could take an hour, 24 hours, a week, or a month – its your choice. It’s also a fabulous opportunity to try something new or out of your comfort zone!
