Dove House Hospice is a core part of the health provision in the region, providing excellent services and support to residents of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We rely heavily on the help of our volunteers and the local community for their support and generosity to ensure we raise the funds required to continue the excellent work we are known for.

Dove House Hospice is proud to be part of "This is Hospice Care", a national campaign led by Hospice UK, uniting 143 hospices across England, Scotland, and Wales.

The campaign highlights a critical fact:
1 in 5 patients cared for by UK hospices are supported thanks to gifts left in Wills.

Legacy gifts are essential in ensuring local hospices like Dove House can continue to provide specialist care, free of charge, to patients and families for years to come.

By working together, we can protect the future of hospice care.

Styled By Dove House has been a true team effort, we wanted to say THANK YOU to Mark and his team at chinesewhispershull for providing lunch for our models and staff on the day of the photoshoot.

Everybody loved the food and were in need of a delicious lunch break after a busy morning of shooting on Humber Street. As well as this, the restaurant provided some amazing backgrounds, including the beautiful blossom tree.

When deciding where the Styled By Dove House photoshoot was going to take place, we thought 'Where better than Humber Street?'. An iconic location to represent our local area!

We wouldn't have been able to co-ordinate the shoot without the help of the Wykeland Group , helping us to contact all of the local businesses, schedule our day and providing green room space for our models.

Styled By Dove House introduced our team to many wonderful individuals who became our models, but this face was already well-known to us and probably many of you - Senior Staff Nurse, Sarah 💙

For the past 11 years, Sarah has been a member of our nursing team but also a keen lover of the Dove House Shops so upon seeing the advertisement for the models she thought ''Oh my word, yes and I was really excited for it. And also, it's a way to support the hospice - I have a passion for it''.
