Had a fab day at the Hull Youth Work Event, the team delivered on 2 different workshops and enjoyed the event as a huge celebration of the range of youth work happening in the city. It was also a chance to network and think about the future by finding out about reforms to the children's social care strategy and the soon to be released 10 year Youth Work Strategy, the first in 30 years!

After the success of Safeguarding Week 2024, community, adult and children safeguarding partnerships from across North Yorkshire, City of York, City of Hull and East Riding have come together to offer a programme of safeguarding learning across all communities.

The key message of the campaign is ‘safeguarding is everyone’s business ‘ and we encourage everyone to take full advantage of the wonderful array of safeguarding training and awareness raising that is made available for FREE in the programme linked below.

We are really pleased to announce our new parents drop in sessions have started!

Monthly drop ins are now running around the city at a number of children's hubs and other support services, attend wherever is convenient for you. No need to book just turn up and Carri will be waiting to meet you.

Available to parents and caregivers who want to have an informal chat about any worries they may have about their child being exploited, or just access for questions, support and information you may need about child exploitation.
