WHW Plastics

WHW Plastics Dental Supplier and Manufacturer William H Wright founded W.H.W. Plastics in 1960 to manufacture acrylic teeth and denture base material.

Starting from his garden shed at home in Hull the company has relocated several times over the past 50 years. The 70`s and 80`s saw the company grow exponentially with several acquisitions that included the introduction of Acrylite teeth range and the birth of the Interlab equipment range. At the end of the 90`s substantial investment in CAD CAM systems allowed the company to further develop its manufactured products and also offer a full engineering CAD service. Proudly manufactured in Hull, the first set of Centrilux teeth was sold in May 2005. With over 2,500,000 sets made and sold in the UK alone since that time. As part of WHW’s continuing programme of expansion, a new sales office was opened in 2014 alongside a brand new warehouse facility. This enables us to offer an even wider range of both manufactured and agency products on a national and global scale. As part of these changes the company has undertaken a program of re-branding with the face of the company and our own products under the Centri brand. With manufacturing still at our core we are constantly developing new and innovative products like the Centrifuse system. WHW is proud to be one of the last few remaining British manufacturers of acrylics, teeth and a range of equipment all made in Hull. Our facilities include scanning and CAD CAM, hydraulic presses, injection-moulding machines, vacuum forming machines, analytical laboratory, wax extruder, fitting shop, test facilities and pad printing.

4 generations and over 20 members of the Wright family have and still work in the company. The family ethos is still as important today as it was 50 years ago and this is why the customer service experience is more important than anything. With an ever evolving range of both products and CPD training workshops we thank you all for the help in making us who we are today. We look forward to the next 50 years.
