It’s with a heavy heart I’m going to move on from doing private sports therapy treatments. I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved while I’ve been doing this and the legacy of it will be the lasting friendships I’ve made. Thank you to my family for supporting me, East Hull harriers for giving me a gateway into this and everyone who’s been for an appointment, recommended me or said kind words. I’ll honour all the appointments I’ve got booked in but I’m not taking any more new bookings. No doubt I’ll see you around but if not please keep in touch. I’ll now be focusing on my career as a physiotherapist and being a strong ambassador for double denim inc ❤️🐑👖

Yesterday I learnt that shoulder dislocations are like having kids, after the first one nobody’s really interested 😂 But unfortunately I’m out of action again for a couple of weeks so I’ll be in touch to rearrange the appointments when I’ve stopped feeling sorry for myself. Huge thanks to Emma who was unfortunate enough to be with me when I did it. She sacrificed her Saturday morning to look after me and then wait an appropriate amount of time before taking the p**s. Thanks again for taking the optional bumpy route to the hospital 😂

Good job the physio jobs working out because if I worked in marketing I think I’d be living on the streets now. Flyers, social media posts, free charity work, paid google adverts…I could go on. None of those things have got me as much immediate business as some lovely drunk lady shouting across the pub last week “are you the physio guy in the village who does sports massages and acupuncture?!” Phones not stopped since. So thanks for that 😂

Undervalued, underpaid, criminally underfunded and overlooked. I really hope it lasts another 75 years but it doesn’t look like it will. I do think we’ll look back in the future and say we should have done more to protect it because I don’t think a lot of people realise how good we’ve got it in comparison to other countries.

I’ve always loved the NHS and everything it stands for and having worked for them recently that respect has only grown. Thank you to all of the staff past and present who look after us and produce amazing results on daily basis against the odds, you’re all heroes ❤️

Massive thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding this year. Despite it consuming my life I still love what I do because of you… the people.

Today is the last day of Uni this year and what a ride it’s been, feeling rather proud of myself and ready to start enjoying summer. Might even train for an autumn marathon… who knows 👀
