Susan WALMSLEY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Walmsley. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother of Swanland. Susan was born in Hull on 1st September 1943 and passed away March 30th 2025. Susan passed away at HRI’s ICU and we want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to the nurses who cared for her.

All that knew her, knew her as a kind and loving lady. She is survived by her husband, Trevor, sons, Andrew and Ian, daughters-in-laws, Claire and Vicky. Along with Grandchildren, Jack, William, Charlotte and Henry and brother Peter.

Funeral service to be held at Haltemprice Crematorium on 23rd April 2025 at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers her wish was to make donations to the RNLI.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Anne Longthorn, aged 63, beloved wife of Kenny Longthorn, and devoted mother to Dale and Jordan. Cherished grandmother of 7, whose love for her family knew no bounds. She was a woman of great warmth and humour, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had to privilege of knowing her.

She passed away peacefully on Friday 7th February 2025. Throughout her life, she touched the lives of many with her generous spirit, loving nature, and unwavering dedication to her family. She will be profoundly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Chanterlands Crematorium (Large Chapel) on Monday 3rd March at 12.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Research UK in her memory.
