Raise awareness on cardiovascular disease in your community!

Get involved in this piece of engagement!

Forum CIO are currently undertaking engagement on behalf of Humber & North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership & Humber & North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board to raise awareness on the importance of having blood pressure and cholesterol checks.

Our community has a high percentage of people living with undiagnosed high blood pressure, high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.

This piece of engagement is to:
- Raise awareness of the dangers of cardiovascular disease
- Find out why individuals don't get checked
- Enquire what would make individuals take notice of health information
- Enquire how individuals would like to be notified about health

The government has just announced plans to change legislation and close down Healthwatch England to bring patient voice functions 'in-house'.

This is a very sad day for Healthwatch Hull and all other local Healthwatch teams across the country.

We are pleased to announce the implementation of a Golden Hour!

Starting from today the 25th June, women arriving at the post natal ward (Rowan) between 9pm and 9am can now have one birth partner accompany them onto the ward to help settle them in and support them for their first hour.
πŸ‘ΆπŸ€°πŸ€±πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

We ask that birth partners and families are respectful towards other patients and staff on the ward, and as they may be admitted into a two or three-bedded bay, volume control and privacy must be maintained at all times.

Main visiting hours remain as 9am - 9pm for one main birthing partner, and 3-4pm, 6-7pm for other visitors.
