We are here for you. Research from Age UK shows 1 in 30 people aged 60 to 74 and around 1 in 50 people aged 75 and older have experienced domestic abuse in the past year.

Our PFH Heroes Awards were so well received we have now launched them to run monthly! With different categories to choose from, you can nominate a Good Neighbour or a favourite pet!

The nominations will be considered 4 times a year, with the selected winner receiving a £25 voucher!

We’re making a small change to the PFH Connect home screen to make reporting issues even easier.

From Monday 19th January, you’ll see a new “Report Issue” button. This replaces the separate “Report repair” and “Report ASB” buttons. Both options will still be available once you select “Report Issue.”

We’re excited to share more about our SMART ‘Try Before You Apply’ apartment at Ada Holmes Circle and how it could help you to stay more independent!

Thanks to the Digital Inclusion Grant from KCOM, the apartment now includes over 60 different SMART products and adaptations you can try during your stay. We have voice-controlled lighting and curtains, smart reminders via Alexa, discreet aids and adaptations, and everyday technology like a robot hoover and more.

If you’re 60 or over, live in Hull or the East Riding, and have limited assets, you may be eligible to:
✅ Stay in the apartment for up to three weeks
✅ Stay completely FREE (and it won’t affect Housing Benefit)
✅ Have no commitment to move, it’s entirely your choice
✅ Enjoy communal facilities, social activities, and daily welfare checks

To keep your smoke alarm in good working order: test it once a week, or once a month as a minimum, by pressing the test button until the alarm sounds.
