Included in our Retreat Day:

Yoga practised outside in nature ( weather permitting), to honour the longest day of the year.
21st June is also International Day of Yoga, and the theme for this year will be:
Yoga for Wellness, Wisdom and World Peace.

Pitta balancing rituals and tips to keep us cooler through the summer.

Learn Sitali Pranayama, yoga's coolling breathwork.

Summer skincare recipes to make and try whilst on Retreat, or to take home.

Guided relaxation or Yoga Nidra.

Plant based light lunch and refreshments included in the price.

Experience not necessary.

A lovely morning spent in Burton Bushes, as part of a home ed wild herb walk with local herbalist, John Andrews.
Introducing parents and children alike to the medicinal benefits of our common wild plants.
And a bumper turn out of new home educating families too!

Thank you to everyone who came along to this morning's Weekend Wellness Walk to Nut Wood, Waudby Scraggs ( I think it's called) plus coffee at Raywell.
It was a beautiful morning. Thanks folks.
Our next walk will be Sunday 12th July.

Before we head off on our annual pilgrimage to Cornwall in 15.5 days time (not that I'm counting the days!), I would like to just leave my latest schedule of workshops through June and July right here:

Celebrating the upcoming Summer Solstice by making hand painted floral bottle lanterns.

Thurs 25th June
Summer Fermentation.
I have been asked for the date for this next one already!
We shall be making wild floral sodas, cherry rose harissa, cucumber kimchi, rosehip syrup and more.

Thurs 9th July
On 11th July, we celebrate International Raw Food Day, and in this workshop I will be exploring the how's and why's of the raw food lifestyle.
Expect to get hands on, and needless to say, there will be plenty of raw snacks to enjoy along the way.

As many of us will have enjoyed holidays already by this time, bring along any pebbles or interesting stones you may have collected from the beach, and we shall learn about the Japanese art of stone wrapping.

All workshops will run 6.30 - 9pm

All workshops take place at The YogaCraft Studio, 125 Chanterlands Avenue, Hull, HU5 3TG.

What a beautiful workshop this evening, and a beautiful way to celebrate Beltane.
As well as weaving hair garlands, we also made scented votive candles, and personalised herbal bath jars.
