For thousands of years, the drum was held in the hands of women.

Did you know?

Before history was rewritten, before voices were silenced, women were the keepers of rhythm, the guardians of sacred sound.

Across ancient Mediterranean and Western Asian cultures, the frame drum was not just an instrument. It was a bridge between worlds.

✨ In birth, its rhythm echoed the pulse of life, guiding women through labour.

✨ In death, its beat softened the passage, honouring the soul’s journey.

✨ In ceremony, it opened gateways to trance, healing, and deep knowing.

This is a story that was buried… but not lost.

This will be a small personal weekend where a group gathers to create their own Spirit Drum and be**er and spend time immersed in rhythm, sound, and deep connection.
