Employee of the Month – October & November! 🌟
This month we’re celebrating four amazing staff members who have gone above and beyond in making Maple Court a place full of care, compassion and smiles.
✨ Sophie & Mandy (New to Maple Court)
Since joining us, both have brought incredible energy and a truly person-centred approach. From dancing with residents to help make personal care feel fun, to sitting a little longer to build trust and comfort — they’re proving that the small moments can make the biggest difference. 💙
💚 Charlene & Lisa (Residential Unit)
Starting out with us as domestics, their love for helping residents inspired them to step into care roles — and they’ve never looked back. Their dedication, growth and passion shine every day, and Magnolia House is so lucky to have them. 🌼

Yesterday wellbeing coordinator Sarah took Sue to see the Maple Court collectives art work on display at the Beverley Art Gallery and placed her vote for the all important People Choice Award!

We’re excited to share that the new Wellbeing Suite at Maple Court is now complete!
This fully functioning kitchen will be so much more than just a kitchen for our residents. For those living with dementia, everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning and washing can bring a sense of purpose, comfort and familiarity — and this space has been designed to support exactly that.

The kitchen has already been put to the test this week, with residents baking croissants, cinnamon buns and homemade jam— and loving every moment!

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful activities and memories that will be made here. 💙🍞🥐

Three of our lovely ducks at Magnolia House have done a vanishing act, if anyone in the Cottingham area sees two white ducks and one with grey markings looking a bit lost then please let us know and we will collect them.
