We would just like to congratulate one of our ESOL students Diana (didn’t want a photo) for becoming self employed as a domestic cleaner and landing a fantastic contract with a pharmacy .

we wish her all the very very best in her new venture, we are extremely proud of her 😊 and thank her for the card , chocolates and flowers 💐

The students were given a lesson in crotchet last week , Beatrize one of our students took it up as a hobby during lockdown and now makes amazing clothing from it , here are a few pictures from the session 😊

The ESOL students have been enjoying their weekly afternoon bingo in the Octagon on a Thursday afternoon , with free drinks and snacks included and prizes to be won … why not join them 1pm Thursday all welcome 🙂

Really good turn out to ESOL class Monday Marie was teaching about colours and things around the home and Martyn was looking at countries around the world and politics and it was really interesting to hear the students views and see them so involved .

Sarge and Sarah from the Music Lab at Goodwin introduced a variety of instruments to our TWS students , to learn and play they loved it , in fact some are joining the Music Lab in the new year to learn to play an instrument and make music .

Massive congratulations to Maria viziru not only was she an original student from Romania on the TWS programme , she went on to become a volunteer to the class, whilst completing a Teaching Assistant course with HBTC she had now secured employment with Goodwin working along side Martyn our teacher to teach ESOL to others “welcome to the team Maria” 😊

During the summer time TWS was treated to a history talk and tour of Hull by the amazing Mike covel Hull historian , it was fantastic and really interesting, the students really enjoyed it.
