Winter hits and suddenly your body feels tighter and more tired. You might feel less switched on too.

Humber Bridge Half Marathon – DONE! 🏅

What an incredible experience at the half marathon on Sunday! Distance running is new for me, so I was pretty happy with my time 🎉

Recovery has been my focus this week because those aches hit me hard!
✅ Hydrating & refueling - Keeping those energy levels up
✅ Hot baths with Epsom salts - Brilliant for muscle relaxation
✅ Stretching & foam rolling - Loosening up those post-run aches
✅ Resting & extra sleep - Because recovery is just as important as training

I'll also be adding more sauna sessions and massage into the rest of the week. Letting my muscles settle, recover and get ready to train again! 🏃‍♀️💆‍♂️

💡 Keep an eye out for my upcoming stretching & foam rolling videos - they might give you some inspiration for your own recovery!
