We’re on the final approach to the New Year and we hope you had a fabulous Christmas. We’ve got some safety tips to share with you for your New Year Celebrations…

1. Stay in your friendship group - don’t leave your friends to walk home solo, there’s power in numbers!

2. If heals are your preference, pack some flats! - bare feet is never nice to walk home in

3. Stay steady - don’t drink to quick and keep your drinks similar to avoid mixing!

4. Keep your drinks close - be mindful of who is around your drink not everyone is as kind as us

But most of all, have an awesomely fun time!!

A statement on behalf of the Directors:

Today, two of our volunteers were assaulted while simply doing their jobs. Thankfully, they were not seriously injured, but no one should have to face violence at work.

Assaulting medical staff is completely unacceptable — especially on Christmas Day. Our teams give up time with their families to care for others, and they deserve respect and safety while doing so.

We will always stand behind our volunteers and will not tolerate abuse or violence in any form.

We will support the police during there enquiries
